Lake Details
Lake Minnesuing is a 450 acre lake located in Douglas County. It has a maximum depth of 43 feet. Visitors have access to the lake from three public boat landings. Fish include Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Trout and Walleye. The lake’s water is moderately clear.

Jim Giffin has been selected to receive an award as a 2023 Invader Crusader in the category of Volunteer Individual of the Year given by the Wisconsin Invasive Species Council..
He was nominated by Ramona Shackleford and will be recognized at an event in June ,honoring Wisconsin citizens and organizations for their significant contributions to the prevention or eradication of invasive species that harm Wisconsin’s waters and land.
Jim is so serving of this recognition after so many initiatives he has coordinated to improve Lake Minnesuing and our shoreline.
We will also recognize Jim at our Annual Meeting on June 17th
